About Us

Our staff has over eighty years of combined experience in the title insurance industry with two staff attorneys.

Corporate Counsel Robert J. Notestine III began his real estate profession in 1981, selling and managing residential, investment and commercial real estate properties as well as managing and real estate brokerage company. His duties included extensive involvement in the planning of residential and commercial development of real properties, commercial leasing and sales. Mr. Notestine has engaged in private law practice since 1986 with an emphasis in real estate law. He has experience in zoning law, real estate development, state and local administrative law, commercial law, leases, landlord and tenant matters and contracts, municipal law, tax sales, foreclosures and investment real estate.

Jenny Morris works as the closing coordinator for Belle Meade Title & Escrow. She constructs each file to prepare it for closing as well as all post closing duties. Jenny is the first point of contact for new clients and new contracts.

Vicky McMillen has been a legal assistant for Robert J. Notestine III for ten years. She has been in the title industry for 30 years. Vicky processes closing packages for Belle Meade Title and Escrow. working diligently to get the documentation prepared correctly and serving our clients needs.

Our Process

Searches - We obtain all of searches through First American Title Insurance Company. This company is one of the largest title underwriters in the country.

Underwriting - The title search is examined by one or both of our staff attorneys. We resolve problems before closing instead of waiting until after closing.

Work Quality and Timelines - Your closing will be handled by all our staff in a team approach. Everyone on staff should be able to answer questions about your closing and we strive to meet your timeframe for closing.

Accessibility - We can travel to your location to close if given advance noted.

Track Record with Customers - Feel free to speak with our customers. We believe you will feel that we did closing right. We don’t close just to get it done. We strive to give you a closing with no post-closing problems.

Services - Our staff attorneys are available for consultation after you close your transaction. Mr. Notestine is also involved in private practice.
